Who won what on Thursday

Despite the attraction of the stunningly exciting Arsenal game live on TV, numbers were a mite better last night, & all 5 covered. In the case of the Main it was a close run thing, as it came in on exactly the guarantee, which would doubtless please Jeffrey Archer.

And if you have not read this book, you really should. I don't read fiction, but Mr Archer is the exception, & if you are struggling to think of a good Xmas pressie for someone, any Archer book is well worth a read. Even his Belmarsh Diaries, chronicling his time in prison.

    £6,000 Hitman Bounty Hunter (£6,000)

    Had to do a double take at the winner's alias, as I thought it was Scary Polak, which is the alias of Veronica Brill, the young lady who exposed the Mike Postle affair. A striking looking young lady she is, too. I think I may be in love with her.

    A remarkable performance by the retired grumbler, Jac35, in finishing 4th in the Main without taking a single head prize.

    @SzaryPolak 1000000 1 £817.50 + £318.14 Head Prizes 8

    @5kids 0 2 £490.50 + £198.63 Head Prizes 13

    @ozzieowen 0 3 £300 + £138.86 Head Prizes 5

    @Jac35 0 4 £235.50 0

    @69winsalot 0 5 £201 + £182.11 Head Prizes 10

    @Little4334 0 6 £169.20 + £101.48 Head Prizes 6

    A pleasing result for waller02, too. I was quite surprised to see him playing a £33 Main, but a quick check revealed he won his seat via a £7.20 satellite. So, £106 from £7.20 is a great return.

    @waller02 0 10 £83.40 + £22.50 Head Prizes 2

    Here's Veronica. Powerful look that, right?

    Ryan's evening continued to go well, with 3rd here for ~£104 to add to the £106 he won in the Main. Looks like the hard work is paying off.

    If u want a chuckle and have the time - take a look at the hand histories from say the last 7 when Romie was short stacked - to say he couldn't run better maybe an understatement although he did hero Mark quite well I recall but he certainly had my number when it came to all in pre sigh! I played the last hour on phone as was feeling rough so couldn't type anything into chat box so gg all
