Despite the attraction of the stunningly exciting Arsenal game live on TV, numbers were a mite better last night, & all 5 covered. In the case of the Main it was a close run thing, as it came in on exactly the guarantee, which would doubtless please Jeffrey Archer.
And if you have not read this book, you really should. I don't read fiction, but Mr Archer is the exception, & if you are struggling to think of a good Xmas pressie for someone, any Archer book is well worth a read. Even his Belmarsh Diaries, chronicling his time in prison.

£6,000 Hitman Bounty Hunter (£6,000)
Had to do a double take at the winner's alias, as I thought it was Scary Polak, which is the alias of Veronica Brill, the young lady who exposed the Mike Postle affair. A striking looking young lady she is, too. I think I may be in love with her.
A remarkable performance by the retired grumbler, Jac35, in finishing 4th in the Main without taking a single head prize.

A pleasing result for waller02, too. I was quite surprised to see him playing a £33 Main, but a quick check revealed he won his seat via a £7.20 satellite. So, £106 from £7.20 is a great return.

Here's Veronica. Powerful look that, right?

I don't know tarmac from Adam, but it was a fine win, well done him.Ryan's evening continued to go well, with 3rd here for ~£104 to add to the £106 he won in the Main. Looks like the hard work is paying off.
