Sky Poker has had a really good, consistent run. Long may it continue.
Compare/contrast it with Coral.
When I started playing poker, I looked at Coral-at the time they were a Party skin, so I played on Party itself.
Some years later, Coral decamped to Ongame, so I started playing on there.
Then they decided to switch to i-poker. I have played on a lot of i-poker skins, particularly Mansion (when they bothered with Poker) and Will Hill. Spent a while varying it, but last year or so, played just on coral (for i-poker).
Got an email this week-Coral are moving to become a skin on Party, because they believe it is the "safest and most established poker network in the world." Really? Hasn't been a "Network" since about 2005. While not mentioning that they left them years ago, and pointing out that various poker points/bonuses will lapse for Coral players.
Meh.

Amazing isn't it, how it all goes round & round.
The "logic" here, of course, is that Coral are now owned by GVC holdings, who in turn own Party. So they are going "in house".
I don't know, but presumably Ladbrokes will go the same route in due course? (Ladbrokes & Coral are the same Company now, so Ladbrokes are also owned by Bwin/Party).
Others use a variety of different organisations running alongside one another. I-poker is one such. So (for example) if you are playing on William Hill, or Paddy Power, or Titan, or Betfair etc it LOOKS like you are playing just on there. But players from various other sites are playing you at the same time.
I-poker provide the software for that particular set of organisations.
Hope that helps.
I typically withdraw and move somewhere else when big changes occur.
Now confirmed that Coral will close on i-Poker tomorrow, 4th December.
They hope to re-open on Party "later this month".
Also, now confirmed that Ladbrokes will follow the same route in Q1 2020.
