UKOPS got off to a flyer last night, & there was a clue after the first event, a £5,000 affair that made £7,400. The Mini did extremely well too, & all 6 covered, with Prize Pools coming in 21% in excess of the £35,000 of UKOPS Guarantees.

Quickdraw & Midnight Ex both done very well, too.

UKOPS 02 £15,000 Bounty Hunter (£15,600)

As most of you know, there's a UKOPS sidebet challenge, where 8 hotshoes are having a bit of a race to see who does best in UKOPS. Quite extraordinary that not only did one of them win this one - the Main - but that in total, THREE of them made the Final Table. Awesome stuff.

Many congrats to Dog Bloke, who has been bullish all week about his prospects, Groggs & Danny.

Runner-up ValueJL, who was 5th in Summit on Tuesday, had a cracking evening too, starting with the runner-up spot here. More UKOPS FT's were to come, as we shall see.

A best performance from BluiTide since he was 2nd to Melty in Avenger Rebuy back in November.

The Bates was so close to landing the UKOPS win I ha\d been predicting, but there's plenty of time yet.

And in third was ValueJL, completing a hat trick of UKOPS Final Tables on night one. Some performance that.

StayOrGo got off the mark in 5th.

We were on separate tables, luckily for me. But yeah, I had half an eye on his table and it would have been nice to outlast him, even though every deep run I make is down to him.

No, there is no official UKOPS Leaderboard on this occasion.
