42nd minute;

A wonderfully entertaining 40 minutes, Liverpool having the best of it but Wolves threatening too.

Then a through ball bounces off Lallana's shoulder & quick as a flash Mane stabs it in the net.

Deep in added time Wolves score, then, unexpectedly & inexplicably, Mr Var arrives & chalks it off.

That was a wonderful 45 minutes of football. Shame about the VAR controversy though.

Well 1-0 sounds a little drab & boring, in fact it was anything but, that was a lovely 90 minutes of football. Noticeable too was the lack of amateur dramatics when players were tackled, unlike the Man U players yesterday, particularly James, who is very talented but a dreadful piece of work.
