Tory MP says poor people are 'fattest' and need to be taught to eat healthily
Sir Desmond Swayne said families on benefits who are forced to turn to foodbanks should learn to do food shopping “more cost effectively”

Writing in a local newspaper he argued foodbanks are an “important contribution” to the welfare system.
But checks should be made to see how families “actually spend” their benefits, the MP for New Forest West, in Hampshire added.

If he’s generalizing, probably not far off the mark.
Having proper set meal times would help, not help yourself cos I can’t be arsed to cook.
Exercising is free to all. Again, can’t be arsed.

    bottom line

If you put more in the top end that comes out of the bottom end = fat(ter)

Exercise being the main factor that changes the above dynamic...

We are currently eating very well/healthily (see fat club the sequel), frankly our food bill has risen by, maybe 25/30%

Doubt if he would have apologised had he not been battered over his comments.

Tory MP Sir Desmond Swayne apologises after he branded poor people 'the fattest' and said they need to be taught to shop more healthily and cost-effectively instead of relying on food banks
Tory MP apologises after he was blasted for saying poor people are 'the fattest'
Sir Desmond Swayne said families on benefits need help to shop 'more healthily'
MP for New forest West said: 'I apologise to anyone to whom I gave offence'

I would suggest you avoid them posh restaurants then.

Boris and his team have a habit of making stupid comments.

Boris Johnson news: Tory minister ridiculed over Brexit claim.

Tory health minister Nadine Dorries has been widely mocked for claiming “Brexit got done” after the Withdrawal Agreement Bill cleared the Commons. The bill still needs approval in the Lords, and a UK-EU trade deal still needs to be forged after 31 January.

Tory MP blames ‘certain communities’ for crime in his constituency
Equality campaigners accuse Ipswich MP Tom Hunt of ‘ill judged piece of dogwhistling’

A Tory MP has been accused of fuelling racism after appearing to blame crime in his constituency on minority groups.
Tom Hunt, the MP for Ipswich, claimed that a “disproportionate number” of offences in the town were committed by “individuals from certain communities”.

The claim drew fire from a local racial equality group, which accused him of “an ill judged piece of dogwhistling”.

Mr Hunt, who won the Ipswich seat from Labour at the general election, stood by his comments, although it remains unclear which communities he was referring to.

    Hi Abdul,

Not sure, but I think your last 2 Posts on this thread are intended for the Brexit thread?

You will have to bring in the VAR for that one. The three posts were stupid statements by Tory MPs, one of which was about Brexit.

The country would be a far better place if a few more Tory MPs were literally battered.

Tory Brexiteer MP appears to edit his own Wikipedia page to remove reference to EU grant and unlawful payments
Exclusive: Account named 'Stuart Anderson MP' deleted potentially damning sections from site

A new Tory MP appears to have edited his own Wikipedia page to remove references to funding that one of his companies received from the EU and information about illegal dividends that he was paid.
Stuart Anderson, who became the MP for Wolverhampton South West last month, seemingly removed the potentially damning information from the site days after being elected.

The edits made to Mr Anderson's Wikipedia page by the user included removing a section on reports that a security company founded by the MP, a supporter of Brexit, had benefited from £500,000 from an EU-backed fund.

The "Stuart Anderson MP" Wikipedia user also removed two references to Mr Anderson having been paid illegal dividends by another of his companies. The firm, called Anubis Associates, collapsed in 2013, owing HMRC £272,000 in tax and £179,300 to other unsecured creditors.

When the company, which trained security guards, was wound up, administrators found that Mr Anderson had been paid more than £54,000 in unlawful dividends in 2011.

He was endorsed by Boris Johnson during the election campaign. The prime minister said at the time: “I am so proud that he is standing as the Conservative candidate. We want to help start-ups here and get the economy really moving."

Election results: Tory who said ‘nuisance tenants’ should be made to live in tents and pick potatoes wins MP seat
Newly elected MP recently investigated over alleged antisemitism in pro-Boris Johnson group

He said those tenants should be forced to live “in a tent in the middle of a field” after being kicked out of their homes.

“Six o’clock every morning let’s have them up, let’s have them in the field picking potatoes or any current seasonal vegetables, back in the tent, cold shower, lights out, six o’clock, same again the next day,” Mr Anderson said.

Haysie, are you open to suggestions?
    I suggest a new thread.
Maybe “ The Lying Tory Scoundrels” would be fitting.
