It's hard to predict what will be a good game, but I'll be seriously surprised if this one is not a beaut.
Liverpool - who we all know & love - are of course invincible, or nearly so, & can lay solid claims to be the best team in the world. 13 straight Premier League wins, & 91 out of a possible 93 points in their last 31 Premier League games. Extraordinary.
Wolves, meanwhile, are lively upstarts, with 3 or 4 seriously exciting players, especially Traoare, and a Manager in Nuno Herlander Simões Espírito Santo - universally & sensibly known as Nuno - who will go right to the very top of his profession, though sadly not with Wolves.
Match of the week for me, arguably even more enticing than Chelsea v Arsenal.
No idea how to make the last line stand out in bold type, but yes match of the week, but, on a Thursday ? Oh well you take the Dirty shilling, you dance to the dung coloured tune.
Managers whine endlessly about the crowded fixture list, but they are the authors of the problem as they want the TV money. Why Liverpool felt the need to fly halfway round the world to play the World Club Championship in the middle of the season defies belief. I've got no sympathy at all with the Clubs, they can't have it both ways.
By the bye, I was quite pleased to see your question. I invest a decent amount of time each day trying to make the Forum Comp threads interesting with comments & photos, & I often wonder if anyone actually reads them, so your question was pleasing to me.
