We've not bumped into each other since the TV Show ended, but he's always the first to send me a text & Tweet on my Birthday. He was the first to contact me & wish me well after I had my heart attack too. We sometimes exchange bants on Twitter.
Well not until Sky Poker has it's makeover later this year, but after that, who knows what might be possible? Twitch is neither out of the question or in the frame. But it's not impossible, far from it.
It would not involve me though, as I doubt I'm seen as having any commercial value or being able to appeal to the target audience.

I notice Stars have diffent landing pages for different countries and languages on YouTube, so it could be cheap for them to have a Skypoker channel, with live feeds once a week, and feedback on the main tourneys, plus the advertising revenue could make it break even after paying presenters & staff salaries?
Just think you, Richard, Anna could live stream from the Sky Poker tour this year....

Yeah i miss Channel 861/5 as well. Two fave memories - the episode with David May and the story about Eric Cantona and a Christmas episode one year with Richard Orford and another presenter (forgot his name now, Birmingham lad i recall) and their Christmas jumpers.

I recall David May appearing, but I don't recall his Cantona story.
The "Birmingham lad" would be Stu Rutter. As to bad jumpers, Orford was famous for his dreadful clothes-sense.
Ah yes, Stu Rutter, he was a good presenter. David May told a story about the game where Cantona did his Kung-Fu kick at Crystal Palace 1995 i think. David May scored a rare goal in a 1-1 but still got grief from Alex Ferguson after the game whereas Cantona was only told 'you cannot be doing that every week son'. It was you Tikay and Neil Channing on that episode, you all had a good old laugh, i am surprised you cannot remember it.

I think that's extremely unlikely I'm afraid, much as many of us would wish otherwise.
It can't justify it's exorbitant cost right now, for a whole variety of reasons.
"Never say never" & all that, but from what I know, it's most unlikely.
Were you a regular viewer back in the day?
He's fine, or was the last time we spoke.

A genuinely lovely & sincere man.

What is this makeover you talk of?

If only. I've not seen Richard or Anna in ages, would love to get the old gang back together again. Think it's "highly unlikely" though.
Hope you & Sue are both well & in good heart.

My memory is becoming selective I'm afraid, but yes, now you have prompted me, I do recall it.
I got paid for nothing that night, Mr Channing did all the talking.
