We return to football today, with an intriguing FA Cup replay between Oxford United & Newcastle United. The first leg, at St James Park, was goalless.
Oxford sit just outside the Top 6 in League One, with Newcastle bumbling along in mid-table in the Premier League.
When I look at a match the first thing I do is try to price it up myself. Then, if the price is better/worse, I can take a better view on whether to bet.
I had Newcastle at about 8/11 here, so quite a surprise to see them odds against. It hinges, I guess, on whether Newcastle field a full-strength team, or decide to let the kids have a game. Pretty sure Newcastle will take this seriously.
This splendidly attired chap is Sumrith Thanakarnjanasuth, who is the current owner of Oxford United.

This is Kassam Stadium, home of Oxford United. It's named after Firoz Kassam who owns the ground & did at one time own the Club, before selling it.
