No Premier League football today, and this looks to be the pick of the Champo games.
Leeds are a bit like a posher version of Derby County. They flatter to deceive every season, & this season is no exception. Easy to argue they are the best squad in the Champo & have the best manager, but they have won just 1 of their last 5.
Brentford will go above Leeds if they win this. Winner of 3 of their last 5, they have plenty of goals in them & only leaders WBA have scored more. Tight at the back, too, having conceded less goals than any other Champo team.
I never missed a Brentford game, home or away, for 20 years as a youngster, & though those days have long gone, I'm obv very biased in favour of the Bees.
Having said all that, when was the last time in the Champo that Leeds were almost 2/1? That's an amazing price.
