Forum Comp Day 3, WEDNESDAY. Champions League, Spurs v RB Leipzig @ 8pm

Man City v West Ham was my first choice, but with City at 1/7 & West Ham 14/1 that does not really work for us.
So it's Champions League again, & this time it's resurgent Spurs who host RB Leipzig.
Who are RB Leipzig & from where do they come?
Well Leipzig is somewhere in Germany, & "RB", whilst officially standing for Rallen Ballsport, roughly translated as "Lawn Ball Sports", it's really a sneaky way of advertising the owners brand - Red Bull.
Red Bull purchased SSV Markranstädt around 10 years ago when the Club was in the German equivalent of the National League, since when they have been promoted through 5 tiers to the Bundesliga, where they finished runners-up last season.
EUFA rules mean Red Bull cannot mention their name in the Club Title, and there are no clues in their Team Crest, right?

Red Bull, as well as owning Leipzig FC in Germany also own Salzburg FC in Austria. However, they are very modest about their brand and in both cases & you'd never know both teams are owned by Red Bull.

Hard to believe it's only 8 months since Spurs were in the CL Final against Liverpool. A lot of water has flowed under Spurs bridge since that day, much of it muddy.
