It was Champions League football last night, featuring Liverpool no less, so expectations were tempered, & the Main missed by pennies, just a surface wound. Pleasingly, despite the football, Summit did very well, coming in at £6,900.

£6,000 Gold Rush (£6,000)

£2,000 Gold Rush Mini (£2,175)

£6,000 Summit (£6,900)

£1,000 Quickdraw (£1,300)

£1,000 Midnight Ex (£1,340)

    £6,000 Gold Rush (£6,000)

    That man HAYSIE came out on top again, how do these things happen? Still, it'll pay for a few of those rebuys he has been droning on & on about in true HAYSIE over the last few days. I'll probably wish I had not mentioned that, as it'll start the old boy off again. Talk about "like a dog with a bone".

    Runner-up Ledon1 won Sheriff just under a fortnight ago.

    In 5th & 6th were those serial cashees Jessieak & splashies.

    @HAYSIE 1970000 1 £829.76 + £296.51 Head Prizes 7

    @LeDon1 0 2 £497.86 + £297.32 Head Prizes 12

    @SSN94 0 3 £304.50 + £143.78 Head Prizes 8

    @Mody 0 4 £239.03 + £47.81 Head Prizes 4

    @Jessieak 0 5 £204.01 + £81.56 Head Prizes 7

    @splashies 0 6 £171.74 + £34.45 Head Prizes 2

    £2,000 Mini Gold Rush (£2,175)

    Our winner Oopsagain must love his poker. He began the day by playing a Freeroll at 0645, played another at Noon, played & won the Mini which started at 8.30pm, then played a Turbo DYM at 0130. Oh, & he was back on site playing a BH at 0730 this morning. Now there's someone who just loves the poker.

    @Oopsagain 4350000 1 £271.88 + £64.17 Head Prizes 8

    @dreamerdog 0 2 £152.25 + £63.25 Head Prizes 13

    Poker variance is an amazing thing, & as we know, many can't grasp it, but it's what makes poker the fun it is. Over time though, the better players tend to do better in the bigger MTT's, & this was no exception. Melty, with more big wins than enough to his credit, booked the win, and look at that line-up he had to beat. That waller fella did well to select him for his recent coaching.

    @chicknMelt 345000 1 £1276.50 + £455.84 Head Prizes 4

    @BrayCorp83 0 2 £759 + £401.95 Head Prizes 6

    @jordz16 0 3 £517.50 + £233.94 Head Prizes 4

    @peiratis88 0 4 £379.50 + £286.37 Head Prizes 6

    @skyflyer 0 5 £276 + £37.50 Head Prizes 1

    @VANILLAAAA 0 6 £241.50 + £223.24 Head Prizes 3

    Fine effort by Dave in 7th, & perhaps more remarkably, madprof in 12th after taking no less than 5 Head Prizes.

    I believe Mad Bloke has had some coaching recently. Whoever coached him must be a genius or a Saint. Maybe both.

    @kidgrimsby 0 7 £112.50 Head Prizes 3

    @madprof 0 12 £245.52 Head Prizes 5

    Sharki0 added over £500 to the £2,336 he collected on Sunday when 2nd in the Sunday Major won by Cricket66.

    The recent uptick in results from MAXALLY continued, he's had a whole glut of FT's in the last 2 weeks & his Sharky graph has resumed it's upward trajectory.

    @Sharki0 130000 1 £325 + £196.18 Head Prizes 4

    @MAXALLY 0 2 £195 + £23.44 Head Prizes 1

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,340)

    Timmy somehow won this despite only taking 3 head prizes in a 67 runner affair. That boy runs so pure.

    Runner-up @silkship was 4th in the same event the previous night. Maybe he'll go one better tonight.

    wynne1938 was 3rd, & was up very late for a man who is almost as old as @HAYSIE.

    In 4th was Tribez_11, who won this the previous night.

    @TimmyRaRa 201000 1 £201 + £72.41 Head Prizes 3

    @silkship 0 2 £134 + £74.79 Head Prizes 6

    @wynne1938 0 3 £80.40 + £37.60 Head Prizes 3

    @Tribez_11 0 4 £67 + £52.86 Head Prizes 3

    @nugget1968 0 5 £53.60 + £69.03 Head Prizes 7

    @charsnow 0 6 £43.55 + £31.88 Head Prizes 4

    Alan's success is purely down to my recent motivational coaching; lesson 1 ;) ( Well played Alan! It was 15% wasn't it?)

    Ha! Thanks for sorting out my entry to this; proved to be a correct decision!

    One factor was to generate points for the stack builder free roll and as a 62 yr old who is relatively recent to poker, I wanted to test myself out and learn against some of the big boys/young guns in a high value event...

    My respect goes out to them when they multi table...I can't grind out like these guys..I was running all 3 last night: 8,12 and 13th eventually and I was struggling to make 'poker decisions' as we got to the business end of these events

    Still, won enough for 6 months supply of incontinent pads so worth it! :s

    Cheers Madhead.

    15% swap you say?

    15% x £218.44 (my Sheriff result) = £32.77
    15% x £245.52 (your Summit fluke result) = £36.83

    So you owe me £4.06 ;)
