Playing on Client rather than Internet Explorer

MARK277MARK277 Member Posts: 118
Hi All,

I am looking for some advice for players who have downloaded the Sky Poker client and play on there.

As I currently play on a MacBook I am unable to download the client therefore just play on Internet Explorer.

I am curious how Multi Tabling looks on the client as when I play just now I have each table open on a separate window and play a max two at a time so i do not have some many windows open.

When I try and copy a hand from the hand history I am unable to do this as it never comes across in the correct format. Could anyone advise if this is possible on Internet Explorer and if it is the best way to do so.

Basically I am looking for an excuse to buy a new laptop so any pros for the client over explorer would be helpful.

Thanks

Mark

I use CHROME, and copying a hand from Hand History is always OK.
Though if you're posting them for advice, you have to Copy and Post them just one at a time. If you put two HH's on one post, the Second one doesn't show properly.

I play on MacBook Pro on download client, I had an issue after getting apple store to reboot and cant remember how I fixed it (was something to do with Jaffa) and it runs fine
Can fit around 6 tables tiled (as I don't like min view) if I had a bigger monitor then maybe I could fit more but wouldn't be able to watch tv too :-)

Thanks guys, managed to do an update and get the client installed.

I had two tables running and it seemed to have a delay in folding cards or betting.

Had my MacBook for a few years might well be time for a new laptop :)

I hate the Lag on the Download, that's why I don't use it. Mind you I haven't tried it for at least a Year, if not longer. Similar on IE, but my Lappy's almost as Old as me :)

EDIT: I used my daughter's NEW MacBook she got for Uni (only allowed once) ..... it was AWESOME ;)

I think if I told my girlfriend I was buying a new MacBook she would go crazy. Think it will need to be a laptop although I much prefer apple

As you guys are mentioning Apple, the inventor of cut copy paste died today.

    @mumsie

    That's a great spot. What would we do without C & P?
