The internet is criticised in many ways, but it is also great in some ways.

This is a story about a 9 year old boy that suffers from dwarfism that was getting bullied so badly he wanted to kill himself.
The clip has had 19 million views, raised over 200k, got support from Hugh Jackman, and his local team that he will be leading out on the weekend.
That is the great bit of the internet.
Absolutely fabulous.

Quaden Bayles: Australian boy in bullying video receives global support

People around the world have rallied behind a nine-year-old Australian boy after a video of his deep distress over being bullied went viral.
Yarraka Bayle posted the clip of her son, Quaden, crying after he was targeted at school for his dwarfism.
"This is what bullying does," she says in the video, in which her son also says he wants to end his life.
The clip, viewed over 14 million times, has triggered an outpouring of support and #WeStandWithQuaden messages.
Celebrities including actor Hugh Jackman and basketball player Enes Kanter have spoken out, while parents in other countries have shared video messages from their children.
Jackman told Quaden "you are stronger than you know, mate" and called on everyone to "be kind".

The world is both cruel & kind.

    Some story, that.

What sort of person would bully the lad?

Sums up today's society that it takes an internet post for the bullying to be exposed and acted upon.Serious questions should be asked of the school, authorities etc as to their actions/response as no doubt the parent had informed the school as to what was happening, obviously nothing was done to combat/prevent the situation from continuing. As per usual in these type of cases action only happens when the school/organisation is shown in a 'bad light',when if the situation had been acted upon sooner, the victim would've received the help that was needed sooner.

I suppose the question is, by how many do the cruel outnumber the kind?

I don't think they do, the vast majority are kind & caring.

But negativity & cruelty makes news, positivity & kindness does not.

    I totally agree as well.

I hope for the sake of humanity that it definitely is the case.

So I hope this puts an end to all the 'social media' posts that the story was a scam by a 19 year old actor. Again this shows the type of society that we live in today.
