Morning.

For the 2nd straight day, aggregate prize pools exceeded guarantees by over 40%. I think we can all guess why. I'm not sure it's right to jump for joy, but it's a shaft of sunlight for poker players in what is otherwise an avalanche of bad news.

I understand that DTD Cardroom will be closed until further notice from tomorrow due to the virus. Interestingly, in typical Rob Yong fashion, all his staff will be paid in full whilst unable to work. Nice one Rob.

£1,000 BH @ 7.30 (£1,320)

£8,000 Sharpshooter (£10,500)

£2,000 Sharpshooter Mini (£3,040)

£2,000 Sheriff (£3,000)

£1,000 Quickdraw (£1,500)

£1,000 Midnight Ex (£1,660)

Yesterday, I uploaded some guitar magic by Eric Clapton, & a few folks sent me DM's to say they much enjoyed it.

So today another of my Top 5 favourite guitarists, Jeff Beck. Boy, that fella can play guitar. Rosie Bones is handy on the vocals too, but I confess I'm very much in love with her partner in Bones, Carmen Vandenberg.

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter @ 7.30pm (£1,320)

    CCKeenan clearly enjoys Saturdays, this was the 3rd Saturday in 4 he had made a FT, but this time he got the winners trophy too.

    In 3rd was the unforgettable alias of ufud, who won Hitman in late February, with miniman88 in 5th.

    It's been 3 months since CU180 troubled the results thread but that all changed last night. At 7.59pm he won a £1.80 All In Sat to the Main, at 8pm he took his seat in the Main, & a few hours later he was at the cash desk collecting ~£1,730. Lovely job.

    Runner-up TheNit22 was making his 4th Big 6 FT of March, & he also won Midnight Express twice inside a month recently.

    @CU180 3500000 1 £1370.25 + £358.20 Head Prizes 9

    £2,000 Mini Sharpshooter (£3,000)

    If you have access to Sharky, it's certainly worth taking a look at the winner's graph this morning. OK, it's not life-changing money by any stretch, but I bet it still feels proper good.

    @CollisHJ 6080000 1 £364.80 + £99.30 Head Prizes 14

    @HIBERNI369 0 2 £199.12 + £41.29 Head Prizes 8

    Don't you just love seeing a Sharky graph do this?

    £2,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£3,000)

    Victory is no stranger to ChipSisbK & he made up for the disappointment if running 6th in Avenger Main 8 days earlier by winning this.

    Not sure WHAT to make of the runner-up's alias - rachelaxe. Conjures up a pretty scary mental image.

    The rest of the FT were all members of Team Big Boy.

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,500)

    Alvez, not satisfied with the almost certain probability that he will win a Vegas package in this week's Vegas League, took this too. Spending money, though as the world & his wife knows, there's something of a cloud over Vegas right now.

    Solly was 2nd & that left TheBench sitting in 3rd.

    @Alvez11 150000 1 £300 + £241.38 Head Prizes 5

    @SoLack 0 2 £187.50 + £46.88 Head Prizes 2

    £1,000 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£1,660)

    kiki8729, with just 25 MTT's to their credit if Sharky is accurate, made his first ever appearance in the Results Thread & indeed the Forum.

    In 2nd was Sicoe77, & you might think that's a decent result, but had he won it would have been his THIRD Midnight Ex victory in March, & we are not yet halfway through the month. If he were a racehorse, Timeform would give him an upper Case P, & maybe a + sign too. Deffo a C & D standing dish.

    @kiki8729 249000 1 £236.55 + £57.55 Head Prizes 3

    @Sicoe77 0 2 £151.89 + £52.68 Head Prizes 2

    @Natwaz1989 0 3 £94.62 + £143.29 Head Prizes 11

    @daytime1 0 4 £76.78 + £110.97 Head Prizes 10

    @Seany_Pott 0 5 £62.66 + £47.35 Head Prizes 5

    @gez_bear 0 6 £52.29 + £52.03 Head Prizes 5

    SPT Vegas Quarter (21 entries)

    After just 13 entries on Friday, the numbers bounced back last night, & BlairReid, thisltedu, DoyleBrun & apline all qualified for tonight's Semi-final, with HANSON falling just short but pretty much getting enough cash to try again.

    Now, the elephant in the room - what's going to happen with SPT Vegas? Truth is, I don't know, but please be assured that Sky Poker are on the case & I expect them to make their thoughts known in the next day or so. We know for sure that whatever they decide won't be liked by everyone - poker players are a tough crowd to please, as they all seem to (think they) know how to run a Poker Site. One thing we can guarantee though, is that Sky Poker will be fair about it, as they always have when the train occasionally derails.

    @BlairReid 29810 1 SPT Vegas Semi

    @thisltedu 12567.50 2 SPT Vegas Semi

    @DoyleBrun 10675 3 SPT Vegas Semi

    @alpine 9947.50 4 SPT Vegas Semi

    @HANSON 0 5 £18.80

    Fair to say he is one of a kind.

    Very complex character, & fearfully difficult to work for, but equally, as yesterday showed, a very good man to work for.
