Morning.
As I noted yesterday, there's certainly no glee in Sky Towers that Sky Poker is doing so well out of this dreadful situation, because SB&G generally must surely be suffering due to the lack of sports betting opportunities. Even so, the MTT numbers are extraordinary & that's just a fact. Despite the Guarantees on most of the headline MTT's being increased by between 33% & 50%, the aggregate prize pools in last night's so-called "Big Six" still beat those increased Guarantees by an astonishing 53%.
Go back in time 3 months, & who could possibly have forecast where we are now? Queues outside supermarkets, no food on the shelves, half the nation sent home from work, schools closed, most of the world's passenger aircraft laying idle, London's tube network deserted in the rush hour & stations being closed, theatres & cinemas shut, almost no major sport taking place. And that's not to mention all those who are suffering, even dying, from the virus. Even when the virus starts to pass - hopefully in the next few weeks is the most optimistic view - financial Armageddon awaits. On a brighter note, there were no new cases in China yesterday, so this pesky virus CAN be beaten.
Anyway, life goes on - hopefully - and in a very very small way, for Sky Poker players, our Forum continues to provide a modicum of light relief.
There's a whole bunch of flippant "jokes" about the virus on here, & I'm not quite sure I'm comfortable with that. Yes, a little humour is a good thing, but globally, people are dying in their tens of thousands.
It's a job to know what to think really.
On we go.

oioi, dear old Solly booked the win. He's in his 12th year with Sky Poker, & has always been profitable. For every moaner or Team Rigged member, there are hundreds of players like Solly here, who have been here for ever & love the place.@SoLack 273000 1 £259.35 + £153.38 Head Prizes 7

Quick quiz for you. What's the connection between this wonderful photo & the alias of one of the finalists. I need the riders name & his nickname. Winner gets a Milk Monitor badge.
£8,000 Hitman Bounty Hunter (£11,790)
Amazing win here, funkybunch has not played a single MTT here for 10 months, & then polls up & wins the biggest Thursday night Main in many a year.Back in the TV days we used to have a big Main Event on a Thursday, the Sky Sports Bounty Hunter, can't recall the Guarantee, but it was pretty big. Charlotte Jackson was the Sky Poker Ambassador" at the time & I was given the task of teaching her to play poker. That was interesting. She later married Chris Coleman I think, the football bloke.
Shout-out to to Daily Forum Comp season ticket holder tai-gar, he booked his seat in Sunday's SPT Vegas Semi final on Wednesday, & then finalled this last night, finishing 5th. Bravo Mr Gar.
I'm not sure about the player in 3rd, the jury is out.

If the winner's alias is unfamiliar to MTT-ers it's because 90% of his play is on the DYM's. To someone who generally plays fiver DYM's, a £470 bink is abso huge. Well done bud.@jren23 1250000 1 £375 + £90.70 Head Prizes 14

£2,500 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£4,050)
The winner was another returning last night (as so many are now) & doing well. He had not played an MTT here since 2nd December, then played and won a £10 entry 53 runner that kicked off at 5.45pm, then on his 4th MTT of the session won Sheriff. So 2 wins inside a few hours after a 3 month absence. Don't tell Team Tin Hat, please.Pleased to see my old mate NIGHIGHGUN do well.

SPT Vegas Quarter (13 entries)
Three more familiar names booked their seat in Sunday's semi final, & it was especially pleasing to see buzka amongst them after booking his seat in the Quarter via a £1.10 All-In satellite.

I'll make up for it next time.
