Hi guys. I just wanted to wish everybody well at this tough time during the Coronavirus outbreak. I have been very lucky that Poker has provided a living for both myself and my son Gary. However we have always appreciated where the money comes from and how it is not always a "good story" for all. I have observed in recent days that the play on the Poker tables appears to be more reckless than usual, perhaps due to the current state of things with the Coronavirus. (I have just seen a 4 way all in pre where the best hand was King High in the Main Event today) So I write this as a friendly reminder that it is more important than ever to gamble within your means and when you are emotionally stable. I do feel over the coming weeks that some desperation may occur when people are emotionally and/or financially vulnerable. Particularly on the online casinos like SKYVEGAS. I think Poker and Controlled/Fun gambling can be a good distraction at the moment, but PLEASE PLEASE BE CAREFUL to not either gamble with funds that you can't afford in an attempt to recover lost earnings or gamble as a reaction to stress and/or grief/loss. Look after yourselves and your families, enjoy playing poker, but be very careful to bet within your means, PARTICULARLY WITH ONLINE CASINOS like SkyVegas as recklessness can ruin lives at a time when composure, cool heads and compassion for all is required.
