Morning.
For the 2nd night in 3, there were some issues last night. Note the word issues. Businesses have issues, not problems.
The Sunday Major failed to start, exactly as the Mini did on Friday. In the context of the wider world - the real world - that's of no consequence at all, but of course in the Online Poker bubble many of us inhabit, it's a pretty big & bad deal.
Up in Sky Towers in Leeds, Team Big Cheese were quick off the mark & very quickly scheduled a Sunday Major Version 2, to start 40 minutes later, with the same £15,000 Guarantee but this time rake-free, by way of an apology for the false start. It re-started & ran just fine & eventually made £22,400, which might be a record for the Sunday Major.
Two remarkable things here;
1) It's clearly very disappointing for the players when something like this happens, but on the Containment Thread on the Forum there was not one bit of rudeness or ill manners. Just polite questions, answered quickly, that was it.
2) There was no promotion or advertising of the revised start time, not a word except on the Forum, & yet it still attracted a record field. Word of mouth is a vastly under-rated means of advertising imo, for it could only have been word of mouth that spread the news. The Containment Thread itself garnered over 500 views in very short order.
So, a mixed evening one way & another. Guarantees for the Big 6 were exceeded by 65%, which is down a little on the extraordinary & probably unsustainable numbers seen on Friday & Saturday. Apart from the 8pm problem issue, everything seemed to run just fine.

Quite extraordinary that this made just shy of 16 large but no great surprise it went to Arrogant.
a fabulous effort to run 2nd by @glencoelad & he collected close to £1,200, nice one George.

Our winner was @coronaping, & whilst it's natural to wonder if that is an unfortunate choice of alias right now, this player has been here for some years, so it's just a coincidence. In fact, on Saturday he played his first MTT here since January 2017, busting early doors in the Main, & then last night scooped what I believe is the biggest first prize on Sky Poker in 2020 so far.
Runner-up Kickastink was another returnee, playing his first MTT since early December.
In 4th was MrTucker, collecting £1,568. He's no stranger to big wins, or the Sunday Major, as he won it in December 2018 for north of £4,000.

£2,500 Mini Major (£4,140)
414 entries for this, & top spot went to adunne, his last big win was Marksman Mini just under a year ago.Runner-up was 5530, quite obviously named after a specimen of the LMS Patriot Class steam locomotives built at Crewe Works in 1933. Though I'm sure you all knew that. As a special treat, I've uploaded a photo of 5530 at the foot of this post. Don't say I never spoil you.

£3,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£4,600)
Groggs booked the win, & whilst I'm sure he does not need the money, I'm really pleased for him as he spends so much time on the Forum helping less talented players & newbies, & he seems to have infinite patience with them. As I'm sure you know, some poker player take themselves a little too seriously & refuse to offer advice "why should I give them help?" sort of thing. I do admit that he annoys me with his boyish looks though, in fact he looks young enough to be my Son.
Melty was 5th with Stand Up Sit Down 6th.
