The extremely high traffic numbers from the weekend subsided somewhat last night, with prize pools "only" beating guarantees of the Big 6 by some 42%.

Pleasingly, the software issues which arose on Friday & Sunday were absent. I believe Sky Poker had their mechanics under the bonnet on Monday, so let's hope they have identified & eradicated the bug. If only this dreadful COVID19 were so easy to sort.

DONATE2ME gets the official "Course & Distance" winner tag after winning this for the 2nd time in just over a month. He also ran 2nd in the Avenger Main on March 6th for a handy £1,330. going along nicely.

ufud deserves the C & D tag too, he was 3rd in this last night, and also 3rd in it on March 14th.

4th was Ironpump1, and the in-form MStott ran 6th, adding to his bulging kitty which was bolstered by winning Midnight Express on Sunday & the Main last Wednesday.

TONY509 is on fire. This was his 2nd Main Event win in March, and he also took down the Sunday Major for ~£4,000 in February. Whenever I see his alias I always think he's an ice-cream man. When I was a little boy, some 40 or so years ago, ALL ice-cream sellers were called Tony. My local "ice-cream man" was Tony Bros of Acton, & they had THE best ice-cream vans ever ever ever.

3rd & 4th went to Thewaasp & spideryd17, so now we know that a wasp beats a spider in a fight, but we still have no idea if it's better to fight a horse sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses.

5th was glenccoelad, who ran 2nd in Sunday's whopping 7.30pm BH.

I'll pass that up @tai-gar, trhough I imagine the Suits have considered it.

I think the whole of Sky Bet, Sky Poker included, are keen not to be seen to be, as it were, taking advantage of the current situation or encouraging anything which might encourage irresponsible gaming. It's a tricky balance.

Anyway, I'll pass it up.

I don't think adding more MTTs could be criticised for encouraging irresponsible gaming. Surely those wanting a quick gamble can play spin ups and turbo DYMs to their hearts content and there's realistically no way Sky can stop that. In fact you could argue that adding MTTs would provide a way of slowing the gamblers down.
