Coronavirus: Man charged after coughing on police officers and claiming to have COVID-19
A man has been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm after claiming to have the coronavirus and deliberately coughing on two police officers in Belfast.
The 39-year-old will appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Thursday after the incident, which took place in north Belfast on Wednesday.
He is charged with common assault and two counts of attempting to commit grievous bodily harm.
