Who won what on Thursday March 26th

Morning.

More eye-watering numbers yesterday, as Prize Pools of our 6 featured MTT's exceeded guarantees by 102%.

Meanwhile, in the real world;

UK deaths from the virus exceeded 100 in a day for the first time.

USA now has more virus cases (85,000) than China.

Global cases now exceed half a million, with 24,000 deaths.

8,500 have died in Italy alone. The UK run-rate is 2 weeks behind Italy, but it showing an almost identical trend.

It's hard to know what to think about all this.

There was an uplifting note yesterday though, the 8pm NHS "clap-in". It was the most emotional I've felt in a very long time, & I don't deny I shed a tear or two. Not because I'm especially grateful to the NHS as such - though I am, they 100% saved my life 3 years ago & have looked after me wonderfully since - but the sense that the nation is coming together because of this dreadful situation.

Anyway, on we go.

£1,000 BH @ 7.30pm £2,160

£2,000 Mini Hitman £4,700

    £1,000 Bounty Hunter @ 7.30pm (£2,160)

Yay, karlluke took this down. Tina has been an SPT regular since day one & missed very few. Back in the days before Sky Poker was born she & I used to bump into each other regularly at venues across the south, notably the 2 cardrooms in both Southend & Brighton. Sometimes these were just little £100 or £200 jobbies in places like Westcliff Southend, but there was a great spirit in the game back then.

After a long absence from the reports, 2nd FT in 3 nights for mushroom1, almost as if he sprung up overnight.

Danny was 5th, in between looking after his new baby.

    £10,000 Hitman Bounty Hunter (£19,320)

Hitman Main made £19,320, which is more than 3 of the UKOPS Main Events guarantee & almost the same as most of them which are £20,000.

I don't know a deal about the winner, but quite the story here. Entry last night was via a £1.60 satellite, then a £7.20 satellite, & a few hours later they scooped over £3,000. Lovely job.

I know nothing about the other 2 podium spots either I'm afraid. Useless.

In 6th was johnnyy who won Predator earlier this month, & I believe has now filled all 6 spots in Main Event finals in 2020.

Goodness me, after beating £5,000 3 times in the last week, Sheriff broke new ground coming in at over £6,000, which is more than several Mains a few weeks ago.

collin11 who is more of a Quickdraw specialist took the outsized winner's purse.

Runner-up fishhhhh was making his 8th "Big 6" FT in March, & he won the Main on the last day of February.
