Maybe he hasn't, and just wishes to avoid the daily news conference, because Rishie Sunak has been overshadowing him.

A member of the public gets symptoms - only gets tested if they are admitted to hospital.

Somebody rich, famous or "important" gets symptoms, even mild ones - Tested straight away.

    God bless the UK.

Just heard him on the radio, he sounds fine.

Both my niece and brother-in-law in the same household have got the full on symptoms and underlying health problems(Asthma) but have been told they can not get tested until they're extremely ill,by which time it'll be too late.

Peter Kyle brought to light the following at PMQs yesterday.

A 94 year old resident of a care home in his constituency developed the symptons of the virus.
A test finally arrived 10 days later.
By which time 14 of the 20 residents were exhibiting symptons.
Seven of the staff were off sick self isolating.
    These were agency staff.
They had been working in other care homes.
None of the protective equipment they had ordered, had arrived.
There are 80,000 care homes in the UK.

The testing scenario is one of the areas that needs serious looking in to.

I’m sorry to hear about your family, but too late for what? There’s nothing they’d do differently if confirmed, if you’re exhibiting symptoms you need to act as if you have it, then it’s about managing the symptoms as best as possible unless you start needing help with your breathing at which point it’s off to the hospital.

Hopefully they’ll be able to shake it off without needing any intervention.
