People are actually reporting their neighbours for going on 'two runs a day' during lockdown, police say If there’s one thing that runs to the heart of British culture, it’s being a stickler for rules and “the small print”. Oh, and we love snitching too, apparently.
In news that seems surprising, but then immediately isn’t, a police force says it has had a surge in calls from people reporting their neighbours for "going out for a second run".
Government lockdown rules allow people to leave their homes to take one form of exercise a day. And Nick Adderley, from Northamptonshire Police, has told the BBC that during this overstretched and stressful time his force has received "dozens and dozens" of calls about people allegedly ignoring the order.
Police now have the powers to fine anyone found to be flouting the law. But, to be honest, aren’t there better uses of everyone’s time? Such as dispersing big groups and, you know, dealing with serious crimes?

A chap in my block of flats sells weed , has done for years. I dont smoke it and it doesnt offend me.
This week , he still has his customers turning up, tapping his window, popping in and leaving a few minutes later.
Where his customers came from or head off to is anyones guess.
Hes got a hacking cough too.
If communities from further a field hit the beach the virus can spread further.
If we move , the virus moves.
We are trying to stop the spread.
I must admit that got me smiling at the thought of a couple of A.P.C.'s chasing Colin the crackhead as he barrels around the estate on his sisters Pepper Pig bicycle desperately trying to score cos hes run out of gear.
Ah well that's lightened my mood.
I just spat my beer out
cheers :-)
