Who won what, UKOPS Day 9, Saturday 11th April

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 161,196

Morning.

It's Easter Sunday today, but this is the most non-Easter I've ever known. About the only thing that has not changed is UKOPS, which has run every Easter for some time now. Don't think there's ever been a UKOPS like this though, with numbers off the charts.

More of the same last night, & we are almost getting used to the idea of £30,000 Main Events & £11,000 Minis. For perspective, the regular Saturday night Sharpshooter Main carries a £10,000 guarantee. Last night's UKOPS Main had a £20,000 Guarantee & it made £30,000 bar a hundred quid. It'd been like this for a few weeks now, but it still makes my eyes pop out of my head every night. I've been here 14 years through thick & thin but have never known numbers like these night after night.

In total, UKOPS guarantees last night were £41,000, & prize pools at £63,970 beat that by 56%.

UKOPS

UKOPS 52 £4,000 Bounty Hunter (£6,480)

UKOPS 53 £20,000 Bounty Hunter (£29,900)

UKOPS 54 £5,000 Mini Bounty Hunter (£11,130)

UKOPS 55 £4,000 Bounty Hunter (£6,380)

UKOPS 56 £5,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£6,000)

UKOPS 57 £3,000 Hyper Bounty Hunter (£3,980)

NON-UKOPS

£3,000 Bounty Hunter @ 7pm (£3,950)

£1,000 Bounty Hunter @ 7.30pm (£1,500)

£3,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£3,350)

£1,500 Quickdraw (£1,900)

£1,500 Midnight Express B/Hunter (£2,800)

    UKOPS 52 £4,000 Bounty Hunter (£6,480)

    The 7pm opener has done well every night, & so it was again last night.

    nagrom - "morgan" spelt backwards - has been a profitable MTT-er here for at least 12 years to my certain knowledge, but it's been a while since he's featured in a Results Thread.

    By contrast, the runner-up seems to have very limited MTT history here. Has made it pay though, this was his 2nd UKOPS runner-up spot, having been 2nd in UKOPS 30 earlier this week for £543, & now 2nd again in UKOPS 52 for £614.

    In 3rd was OldTimer99. An unusual stat here - he played 4 MTT's last night between 6.15 & 7pm & made a profit in all 4. That's harder to do than you might think.

    In 4th was mushroom who always does well in large fields, with bigfatfish a spot behind.

    UKOPS 53 £20,000 Bounty Hunter (£29,900)

    UKOPS bingo requires a player to finish in all 6 FT spots in a UKOPS event during the series, & cabbaz must be prominent in that - this win means he has now occupied 1st (UKOPS 53), 2nd (UKOPS 12) 3rd (£UKOPS 51) & 4th (UKOPS 36). Just a 5th & 6th needed & he has the lot. He won Sheriff just over a week ago too. Top stuff.

    2nd was GFKIJKLL has been relatively subdued since his 4th in the Sunday Major at the end of March.

    Great to see Danny @itsOver4u do well. Not too many poker players would do

    THIS

    He's doing it for free too - not charging a penny. Amazing stuff, proper bloke him.

    UKOPS 54 £5,000 Mini Bounty Hunter (£11,130)

    805 entries for this, so once again it took some navigating.

    sillymid came out on top, & who would begrudge him that? We learned from the Daily Question thread earlier this week that he worked for the NHS for the best part of 40 years & though now semi-retired he still does street triage work. In truth, I don't know what street triage means, but it sounds pretty noble to me. One positive aspect of this virus is that, at last, the general public are showing their appreciation for our NHS staff. Quite right too. He collected ~£1,550 last night, & whilst he has always been profitable in his 9 years here, that was far & away his biggest win yet. Bravo.

    In 6th was mkgunner who has been a loyal supporter of the Daily Forum Comp throughout.

    UKOPS 56 £5,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£6,100)

    The Big Boys dominated here, wineli getting the win ahead of Granite89.

    In 3rd was jonjo75 who is quietly having a great UKOPS, 8th in UKOPS 15 for £704, 7th in UKOPS 24 for £118, 4th in UKOPS 28 for £1,306 & now 3rd in UKOPS 56 for £500.

    Ambo played 4 UKOPS MTT's last night with deep runs in 3 of them, with this one paying the bills with a bit to spare. Look out for him in tonight's £50,000 UKOPS Main, he tends to do well in these.

    UKOPS 57 £3,000 Hyper Bounty Hunter (£3,980)

    Best ever result - no ifs & buts - for the winner.

    The alias of the runner-up sounds like a Co-Op dividend number. Anyone remember them? Around 65 years ago - I kid you not - my grandmother, a thoroughly dreadful woman, but that's a whole other story - used to send me shopping at the Co-Op & I had to use her dividend number. I was so scared of forgetting it - I was something of a thicko as a lad - that I'd recite the number endlessly all the way to the shop. To this day, I still use that number as a password on many internet sites. Utterly fascinating story...

    @AliButt 597000 1 £542.27 + £146.25 Head Prizes 7

    @30044810 0 2 £325.37 + £70.79 Head Prizes 4

    @Danny2309 0 6 £112.24 + £49.69 Head Prizes 5

    Used to love those old-fashioned Co-Op shops, they always had such snappy names.

    Hi @Tikay10

    The UKOPS 58 (£33) £10K Bounty Hunter at 7pm tonight has no sats. or even a Semi Final to it...... is this by design, or have they just been missed off by mistake?

    Just asking for a 'Poor' friend like ;)

    ....and WELL DONE to all those who've cashed in this UKOPS series, hopefully I can join the Party before it's over :D

    EDIT:A minor adjustment required @Tikay10 ..... just noticed that the Super sat's (10 mins past the hour) to the UKOPS 58 B/H say it's 7.30pm start (should be 7.00pm). Though starting late would probably help me keep some chips :D
