Who won what on UKOPS Day 11, Monday April 13th

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 172,012

Morning.

So that's it, this iteration of UKOPS is done & dusted. Think it went pretty well, the software behaved itself, there were thousands of uniques & almost no complaints from the players. The prize pools were impressive throughout, & 69 of the 70 events covered Guarantee. And yes - one actually missed, event 69 last night came up 3 shy, marring what would otherwise be a 100% strike rate. Mini UKOPS will be along soon too. All good.

Will have to rattle through these briefly today, as I have other stuff to attend to.

UKOPS

UKOPS 65 £2,000 PLO £2,600

UKOPS 66 £10,000 Bounty Hunter £20,640

UKOPS 67 £5,000 Mini Bounty Hunter £11,030

UKOPS 68 £4,000 Bounty Hunter £4,660

UKOPS 69 £5,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter £5,000

UKOPS 70 £3,000 Hyper Rebuy B Hunter £5,780

NON-UKOPS

£3,000 Bounty Hunter £4,000

£1,000 Bounty Hunter @ 7.30pm £1,540

£3,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter £3,400

£1,500 Quickdraw £1,500

£1,500 Midnight Express B/Hunter £2,500

    UKOPS 65 £2,000 PLO (£2,600)

    It just so happened that I discussed CoxyLboro in yesterday's thread, & he responded by winning the opener, which was PLO. One thing this event showed is that a good NLH player is very often a good PLO player too, & the main reason for this is the key to winning at all forms of poker - aggression. Show me s winning poker player & I'll show you an aggressive one. And Coxy deffo wears that suit well, trust me.

    Obviously, some players have varying styles, note that sinatra finished 10th, but he did it his way.

    UKOPS 66 £10,000 Bounty Hunter (£20,640)

    The field sizes for the Mains have been astonishing, & last night was no exception, the £10,000 Main chiming in at over £20,000.

    The winner has fairly low volume here, but seems to do very well, including a nice result in the Xmas '18 UKOPS. Later in the evening he also ran 4th in UKOPS 68. Overall he won around £3,300 last night. Very nice too.

    UKOPS 67 £5,000 Mini Bounty Hunter (£11,030)

    773 uniques & an £11,000+ prize pool, extraordinary.

    Dustolucko took the win, and remarkably he finished 6th in the previous nights super-sized Mini too. He gets the C & D tag.

    nagrom continued his rich vein of form to end up 4th.

    Lord Crush was dominant as per, having also run 3rd in the PLO, whilst Max_Bear had the honour, if that it be, of 6th in both this & the Main.

    Morris707 was 3rd, with Main Event winner K_1rving 4th. Never ceases to fascinate how poker results seems to come in streaks.

    UKOPS 69 £5,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter (£5,000)

    This is the one that let the side down, missing guarantee by 3 entries. No surprise to see Mean Machine's eyes narrow at the prospect of a bit of overlay.

    johnny_e had 4 or 5 UKOPS cashes, & took a deserved win in this non UKOPS 7pm affair, ahead of a really strong FT which included StayOrGo, alancarr & heddoh.

    £1,500 Quickdraw (£1,500)

    Quite the surprise to see this missed, albeit only by 3 entries, but no surprise to see the immensely personable Groggs TIDWTMOF.

    What a final it was too, with every player more than capable of dominating. Not sure we've seen a tougher FT in weeks.

    £1,000 Rewards Freeroll (1,914 entries)

    A whopping 1,914 runners here, & just great to see 2 popular forum regulars in the top 6, pompeynic & Enut, and the latter can put that towards the new moat he is building around his Sussex estate.

    @cazro 3828000 1 £100

    @Steve61 0 2 £60

    @Liambown28 0 3 £40

    So that's all from me on our Easter UKOPS. Don't forget Mini-UKOPS will come trundling along soon, smoking a pipe.

    Take care now, & to all those who endured reading this daily dose of dirge, thank you.

    Huge thanks Mr @Tikay10 for all the work you've put into these updates. Not sure what I've been enjoying more - the games of poker themselves or the regular updates you've been posting.

    Stay safe and stay well x

    Excellent updates @Tikay10, it always breaks up the monotony of work to have a read through and see who has won what and try to spot your little 'punnettes'.

    Just to correct your earlier comment though I do not have a moat and have no intention of building a moat. I do however have a leak in my larger pond which means the duck island is no longer an island and Mr Fox can get on there and potentially eat the poor little ducklings. Suffice to say the hiring of JCBs and drivers do not come cheap and all poker winnings are greatly appreciated. I even won a little MTT yesterday so it was a good day all round.

    Think you mean "lake" not "pond".
