Summer early 1970's leaving Essex at 5am on a weekend to drive to Camber Sands so we'd get a space on the beach.The Ford Zodiac loaded up with us 5 kids and packed lunches of smelly hard boiled egg or cheese & Marmite sandwiches.Coming home sunburnt and stinging whenever a brother/sister touched you because we were cramped on the back seat,yet we'd do it all again the following weekend.It's funny how a record can bring back such vivid memories.
