First up, a small change to reporting from today.
I've dropped the £1,000 BH at 7.30, & added the reinstated £2,000 Mega Stack BH at 8.45pm in it's place.
The froth is coming off the numbers now & they are settling into a pattern, & the £26,000 last night's headline MTT's guaranteed was exceeded by 39%. Curiously, Quickdraw actually missed guarantee by a single entry. I've checked that very carefully, using a calculator & an abacus, after James ever so gently poked me in the eye with a stick after I miscalculated the overlay on the £5,000 Turbo BH yesterday.
In more general online poker news, both Party Poker & Unibet "crashed" last night, Party for the 2nd time in 3 days. I share that not to mock or smirk - Sky Poker's turn will come, for sure - but it does make the point that providing an online poker site is still far from an exact science, & things can & do go wrong. It must be said it's an immensely complex operation, far more so than most realise.
The best thing about those crashes was to read the comments by players on Twitter. Oh my, poker players can be very unforgiving & extremely rude. Comically, on the Party Twitter feed, at least 10 players claimed they were certain to win the MTT before it crashed, & every one of them was holding a winning hand - usually aces, facing a shove - when the site crashed. Tolerance & understanding are not traits the regular poker player possesses in abundance. Pleasingly, the Sky Poker client base seems to be, on the whole, a glorious exception, perhaps because Sky Poker try to keep them updated as to what's going off, & the mop-up is always conducted quickly & transparently.
OK, on we go.

I wish I knew a little more than I do - which is nothing - about nishg. He's a serial casher & makes pots of money, but he's just someone I don't know at all.

For today's music, how about this gem from the late Amy Winehouse, who was a little the worse for wear this night but still managed a banging version of Rudy.

I thought it's very charm was that she was so off-key and yet it still turned out great. IMO of course, music is so subjective.
@tomgoodun
Zing. I'd have been proud of that if only I'd known who or what Nemo was.
