When you look at the faces, and read the names of those that that have given their lives while helping others during the last few months, it is clear that many of them come from immigrant families, or are themselves immigrants.
This didn't stop their sacrifice.
If this was enough to change the minds of the idiotic few, that hate immigrants, then maybe their deaths could have stood for something.
I wish I thought this was more likely.

At a time when people are coming together more than ever, I do find this to be a somewhat divisive and confrontational post.
Immigrants have been a major part of the N H S since I was a boy. When I look at a nurse or doctor I only see a person trying to help others. Skin colour, gender, race, creed, religion, sexual orientation never even plays a part in my opinion.
If this was a response to a post that had been put on here then it would be justified but as a stand alone statement it just seems designed to provoke argument.

If it does they will feel that desperate lurch of self hatred and loathing and hopefully in that instant, they seek forgiveness from those they hurt, and try to become a better human being.
Unfortunately for the world, not everybody gets on speaking terms with their conscience.
