Disconnected....

I use virgin media and have been getting disconnected on and off from mid afternoon. Apparently virgin media down in my area. Lost a few bob playing and obviously very frustrating. Is there anyway you can be compensated by your provider?

    From what's been reported on here, lots of customers who are on Virgin Media have had problems since late afternoon,

    Whether you can claim compo from them I have no idea. Doubt it somehow.

    Incredibly annoying, has cost me a fair bit too. Have managed to de-reg everything else for the evening and can hopefully finish my last 2 mtts.

    Weird. IP goes wobbly and crashes Sky Poker, but some internet still works. 3 or 4 times now for me this evening. Richard Branson to give refunds for loses? Sky Bet go 100/1 ;)

    All things considered, I think that's the best approach really. It's annoying & a PITA, but not a disaster seen in a wider context.

    Thank you @Tikay10 @mumsie very useful, thanks for swift reply. Was on a 6 dym streak on 3s all 30 mins then lost all stack on number 7 as well as lots of dead money probably hurt more than the money lost. One of those things I guess, hope you guys didn't get effected too badly.

    Does this mean they've been hacked?

    6.15 too. Too random to not mean anything? I think Richard Branson should sort Sky Poker's dodgy RNG out ;) I know @Tikay10 is one of his close personal friends, so he could may be have a word.

    I get disconnected too although not VM related. Hopefully I have a solution now though.

    If I am reading this right, very debatable. :)

    Virgin seemed to have the right intentions by automatically attempting to pay back customers for their loss of connection. This is an excellent customer move and I congratulate them for that.

    Certainly with the software being overrun and maybe an IT mishap it's went balls up.

    Bit unlucky VM I say!
