Two quick questions

After playing on SkyPoker over the last couple of weeks, I have two questions that are bugging me that I can't quite work out.

In the poker lobby, what do the Gold Highlights of certain tournaments and cash tables indicate?

And

Is there a specific reason why the title on table windows (DYMs at least) to scroll through different separators between the buyin and description (:, |, -) I kept on seeing movement in the the title of the window and it took me a while to figure out what was happening. I am more curious about this than anything.

The Gold highlighting is just highlighting the most popular MTT's or Cash Games. It's always at the top of the respective lobby.

As to Q2, I'm sorry, I don't really understand the question, though that's probably more my fault than yours, I'm a little slow on the uptake at times. Can you clarify please?

Thanks for the answer to Q1. I had a feeling it was something to do with popularity.

As for Q2. When you are playing on a table. There is a separate window for each table. Generally. there the long bar along the top where the Close/Minimise/Maximise buttons are located at the right hand side and the title of the window is displayed at the left hand side of this bar.

When playing on a poker table, the title of the window changes during play. Current Blind level would change as the levels increase, however, there is a separator between the buyin and description. This separator changes from a colon (:) to a hypen (-) or to a vertical bar (|) known as a glyph [yes, I did just google that ]. My question was why this was, as it is a little bit random, and when it happens the title of the window kind of blinks and changes length ever so slightly causing me to keep noticing something changing. As said, it took me a while to figure out what was happening, and the curiosity in me just wanted to try find out the reason for it.

Here is an image of the title bar in the 3 states with each separator.

Wow, I never noticed this before, Ive also never noticed the blind levels displayed either. Or if I have noticed, Ide long forgotten.

After some investigation.

It appears to be changing at intervals that appear to be fractions of the time left until the blinds change.

@mumsie I guess it's not something anyone would notice, unless they specifically looked at it often. I only noticed, because I kept seeing the title bar blinking and kept a close eye on it.

And you do seem correct that it changes every 20 seconds, although, the type of separator does still seem random. How peculiar?
