Morning.
Week on week (w-o-w) & if we exclude the Mini as it was Mini UKOPS last week, 7 of last night's 8 featured MTT's performed less well. In fact the £3,000 BH @ 7pm only got over the line by £100 (2 entries) & later in the evening Sheriff had an even closer shave, getting there by just one entry. There were reportedly widespread issues right across the UK for Sky Broadband customers, but I've no idea if this affected the poker numbers. As it happens, the Forum had it's quietest day in almost 2 months too.
Is this good or bad? I suppose that depends how we look at it. Those numbers are a long way below the boomlet peak, but a very long way above pre-boomlet numbers. As sports - & sports betting - starts to return, poker is bound to decline from it's recent peaks. However, a residue of the increased traffic is likely to remain imo. We shall see soon enough I suppose.
One thing I can sense is that Sky James is sharpening his Guarantee scissors, & we should not be surprised if he does some trimming next week.

£3,000 Bounty Hunter (£3,100)
Life is not fair, & neither is poker. Palace Bloke is abso minted, but he just keeps accumulating more. What does he do with it all?
BRADERS11 was 5th with Lightwood 6.
Boring Accountant was not good enough to make the FT.

The winner has not troubled the Results Thread - or even the Forum - previously, & Sharky tells us very little about him except that he plays a lot of the Big Boys stuff & seems to be highly rated. Maybe we'll see more of him in the coming weeks now he has a Main under his belt.
Note the FT bubbler was Mr Heddoh.

gregkdy82 is probably better known for his DYM skills, which is where 90% of his volume comes from (he played over 50 yesterday), however he's clearly adept at MTT's too as far & away most of his profits arise in them. MBN to be seriously good at both. He occasionally pops up on hand advice threads too, & has a no-nonsense NOSTRI like style of writing. Don't think we've ever met, & perhaps that's just as well as I sense he would not suffer fools gladly.
Frustratingly inconsistent, Sharky did at least include results for last night's Mini.
4th was ribeiro66, who just loves the Mini, you may recall he won the Mini UKOPS Main TWICE in 5 nights. Deffo gets the C & D tag.

£3,000 Sheriff Bounty Hunter (£3,050)
2nd in the Mega & now Sheriff winner, Melty just prints, night after night, as does The Bates who had to settle for 2nd this time.
Talking of The Bates, I don't suppose it's completely accurate, but Sharky now shows him as having over £300,000 of MTT winnings on Sky Poker. I'm struggling to think of any other player to achieve that truly remarkable stat. Doubt it's accurate though, bet the true figure is nearer £400,000.
In 3rd was another member of the 6 figure club, jordz16, & it must be quite rare for the top 3 of any MTT here all to have 6 figure winnings against their name. All 3 are decent sorts, too.
Rose just missed the Final, stand up time coming on the FT bubble, but at least she took a few scalps along the way.

Mr Heddoh is on fire. On Monday he completed a run of wining no less than three £3,000 BH's in 4 nights. Last night he made it 4 in 7 nights with this win, & just to broaden his CV he won the £1,000 BH at 7.30pm too. For good measure he was 8th in the Main.

I think numbers are bound to decline now that sport is starting to resume. German football resumes tomorrow, UK Horse Racing is imminent, so yes, the numbers will only go one way now. I still think they'll stabilise at a higher rate than pre-boomlet though.

You're wrong about one thing though I would feel hounered if I was to ever meet you. Despite only starting to play here fairly recently I did watch you on TV on the sky poker channel when I was first getting into poker about 10 years ago. I always used to like watching them programmes you and the other boy (who's name I forget Richard maybe?) I always found to be entertaining and enthusiastic about the game. I have always been a bit nocturnal and with sky poker and all the other poker that used to be on TV during the night back in the day that's where I first became interested in poker and after years and years of watching on TV when I finally decided to start playing for real I was actually surprisingly good and I'm still surprised to this day that I win and how easy it seems to be. I never do any learning , studying or look back at any hands and never have. The old TV must have taught me well.

Ha, "Richard Maybe" was Richard Orford. Top top bloke.
