Morning.
A very busy night, with 7 of the 9 headline MTT's doing better than the previous Sunday. The 2 exceptions were Sheriff & £3,000 Turbo, both of which still beat Guarantee by around 25%.
Was really pleasing to see Sunday Major bounce back up to £27,400, & the £10,000 BH come in at just over £15,000.
Live sport is starting to return right across Europe, which will certainly impact poker numbers eventually, but for now, the boomlet continues, though less frothy than the early days.

Solid session for mcg899, winning this for £950, deep run in Sunday Major for £274, then 3rd in Quickdraw for £250.
In 6th was ffbluwliens - I do wish I could decipher what that alias means - who has been on the tear lately, with wins in both Sheriff & Quickdraw in the last week or so.

THETANK began the week by winning Mega Stack, them moved up several grades to end the week winning a £10,000 BH.
2nd & £1,170 was easily the best of 3 cashes yesterday for ecclescake, who is clearly doing rather well currantly.

£20,000 Sunday Major (£27,400)
1st place & £7,261 went the way of DEG2012. This player only comes across about once per week for the big stuff, but what a record he has in the Sunday Major. This was his 2nd Sunday Major win in less than 3 months, & between those 2 wins he also finished 4th, 13th, 9th & 3rd for £1,172, £342, £252 & £2,364 respectively. Add in 6th place in UKOPS 53 for over £1,000 & you are looking at a serious player.
In 3rd was Petesir, to add to his 8th place in Saturday's Big Weekend Bounty Hunter.
newdaddy pocketed £1,863 in 4th, he's had a banging May, with wins in both the £3,000 Turbo on the 16th & Gold Rush Main for £2,500 a few days earlier. More than enough to wet the baby's head.
Crossing the line almost hand in hand in 12th & 13th were the puntastic duo of TIMBER & TheSaw.

Congrats to comesee on his 2nd Mini Major win in under 6 months. The first was back in December, when the Guarantee was £2,000, & he collected £600, but last night, with a doubled £4,000 Guarantee he picked up almost exactly twice as much, £1,202, for easily his best ever score on Sky Poker. He also ran 3rd in a £1,000 BH which started 45 minutes earlier.
In 3rd was dameflop, staking ye again her claim to be the best player in the @glencoelad house.
9th was NOSTRI, so close to a really big score.

Now that I've buttered you up with that bluff....
Interested to know what payout template is attached to the mini major.
Anyone who min cashed last night showed a loss, and the next level of cashers up to 61st had a whopping 2p to write home about.
Surely this can't be correct in a none bounty hunter event?
I understand the concept of paying more and spreading the money about, but paying 100 places in a 501 runner comp and having the first 40 cashers not getting anything for their buy in is taking that way too far.

I've never really had a look at how the various payout structures are put together, though I'm aware that Sky Poker like to spread the cash around as far as is (reasonably) possible.
I'll have a chat with Sky James tomorrow & see what his thinking is.
