First up, news comes through that Premier League football resumes on June 17th. If that proves the case, it'll be good for our Comp, & it will mean we have,. by hook or crook - whatever that means - we have somehow survived. Boy, it's been some journey for us, with all those dreadful USA horse races with NR's galore. The first match is likely to be Man City v Arsenal. That'll be 6 goals or more then.
So, to today, when we do the SC Freiburg v Bayer Leverkusen affair. The correct name for the hosts is Sport-Club Freiburg e.V., whereas Bayer Leverkusen go by the grand title of Bayer 04 Leverkusen Fußball GmbH. Incidentally, Bayer are owned by the pharmaceutical giant who are based locally.
Not a great deal between the 2 teams, Freiburg are 8th with 38 points, Bayer in 5th with 15 points more.
The game kicks off at 7.30pm.
The venue is the somewhat rudimentary Schwarzwald-Stadion;
