Hi all,

Hope you have all stayed safe over this terrible time and are raring to go again. We will certainly have a very busy time over the next few weeks . As I really dont know the full extent of the new timetable please keep an eye out on here for arising threads on qualifying comps.

ANYWAY THIS IS THE FIRST AND SELECTION IN THE FIRST SEVEN RACES EACH DAY ARE NEEDED FROM THURSDAY 4TH.

    Yep, happy to post sheets V. How many days is it?

    Also does anyone know which trainers have been keeping their horses fit during lock down? I'd imagine different trainers have had different approaches, perhaps fitness could be key. Either way should be fun, but would be nice to be on the right fitness angle.

    As far as I know G its 4 days, Thursday to sunday inclusive. I have an in to Mark Johnston and he keeping them fit but thats hardly news , he always has em like that. Im going to be looking at very early results to see if pattern. Also I always feel smaller trainers try and steal a few early on hoping the big boys are dragging their feet and if the early results in France are anything to go by there will be some big priced and surprising winners.

    Sounds like it may be set up for a big Placepot dividend, for anyone that can can identify "at risk" favourites and catch the odd big priced placed horse.

    I might have a crack at it, although it probably needs a wide perm.

    Also based on what you've said here, it's quite likely the Jackpot will carry over for a while.

    Shame the syndicate isn't still going.

    Nice one Alan. If you can still fill out the MAX SEL and NO SHOWS as before, that'd be great.

    This way the auto-generated daily P/L totals will correctly cater for any NR's, which will hopefully assist @vaigret when cross referencing his totals.

    Hi @vaigret and all.

    I looked at Newmarket's card for Thursday and the first six races are all un-raced two year olds. Not a single horse in any of the first six races has run before!

    There are 10 races and the last four all have some form.

    On Friday, Saturday and Sunday it is not too bad.

    I guess there are various options that I see for the Thursday, that I will leave up to Terry to choose:

    1) We could still do the first 7 races as normal.
    2) We could skip Thursday altogether.
    3) We could do 3 races from Newcastle - @vaigret 's choice which three, and the last four races from Newmarket.
    4) We could just do the last four races from Newmarket.
    5) We could do the LAST 7 races from Newmarket (the first three would be un-raced two year olds)

    Happy to go with the flow, so up to you guys to provide feedback and ultimately for Terry to decide.

    Thanks G and yes six unraced two year old races would get comp off to interesting start.
    As no feed back I will make a decision ,

    WE WILL DO LAST SEVEN RACES FROM NEWMARKET.

    Sorry to interfere @vaigret , just a reminder and in line with Terry's comments above in bold. it looks best on the sheet if people use capitals, sample format below:

    1.30: GOSHEN
    2.00: DEFOE
    2.35: DESERT ORCHID

    Post selections on here and copy/paste, "values only" on to the sheet would be my recommendation.
