FAO: SPT-ers in Glasgow

When are people intending on getting there?

I have worked out I am probably best off flying on the Friday (from London Town), so will be in the area around 4pm (staying at the Epitah (or whatever it is called)), so is anyone going to be around for a few drinks on the Friday night and an ice breaker - never met any of you lot so would be great too.

By the way if anyone is interested:

Ryanair flights
07MAY2010 leaving in the afternoon is about £22, my return flight is 09MAY2010 at 6.50am for £9.99 - that way I can still get back down to London to get to the Emirates for the last league game of the season.

p.s. anyone know which Presenters / analysts will be there?

    If I qualify I'll be doing the exact same thing mate...

    I may even try get to the last game of the season for us too because I'm a big gooner too! haha.

    I'm there on the Friday night too - flying in slightly later from Stansted.  Would be good to meet, chat and play some poker with some guys!

    No probs you guys....we can all play the freeze out at the Casino on the friday nite...have a few beers and have a great weekend....it's Etap Hotel..lol

    Is there a good place to meet up on the friday?, I won't know anyone there, and I assume no one has name badges prior to the main tournament on Saturday, so Fridays will just be a free for all...

    Hotel lobby around 6? or Casino Bar around 6? suggestions or how do I recognise people, might feel a bit strange going upto random people asking if you are from Sky???

    anyone have any idea who from Sky is going too?

    They occasionally run a dealers choice game, £100 buy in on a Friday so i'd imagine anyone who's up for the SPT will be begging for that to start!!! That's how you'll spot the Sky Poker peeps, I'm only 30 miles away but considering getting a hotel for the 2 nights also and making a weekend of it! Best way for it.

    In the Casino bar from 8pm on Friday nite....believe me you will know the SKY Poker members...will be a great weekend.

    Its cheap, close, I don't expect too many will be using it for its facilities lol.

    Think its cost me less than £80 for 2 nights with breakfast.

    Yes there are 2 of us from Glasgow playing in the tournament, u fancy meeting for a drink before the game on Sat, prob the Fri night?

    I think its expexted to last untill at least kmidnight mate, im 30 miles away but just going to get a hotel. I think youve to be there about 12, apparently we will all get an e mail confirming everything nearer the time.
