We are almost forced to do Lingfield today, & it's dreaded AW surface, as the Haydock races are too early, Chelmsford ditto, & whilst racing restarts in Ireland today at Naas, the fields are monster huge. Huge fields are fine, but the thought of droves of Non-Runners is not.
Lingfield it is, then.

Back in the day they used to have an advertising slogan "Lovely Lingfield" but once the Trade Descriptions Act came in they promptly dropped it presumably. Quite right too.
