Who won what, Thursday 11th June

Morning.

After a somewhat dismal evening on Wednesday, almost* everything bounced back last night & it was a far better night , & very much on a par w-o-w.

* Instead of almost everything I so wanted to write most everything as it sounds so much better. I think it's a normal expression in the USA, but seems to offend all the English grammatical rules. I wonder if I dare start trying to deliberately ignore correct grammar, or should I wait until I'm a little older?

Talking of which, wearing my Moderator's hat, I read every single post on this Forum. Hardly the most onerous of jobs I suppose, but there are days when it wears a little. Last night was just such an occasion, with post after post seemingly in riddles & barely decipherable. And let's not even discuss punctuation, which seems to be completely random. Of course I'll defend to the death the right of people to post in whatever style they so wish, long may it last, but these posts rarely get a reply, & surely that's a bad thing for the authors?

Anyway, in amongst this sea of posts which were making my eyes bleed, our friend @SR23 came on. I'd give my right arm to write half as well as he does, I suspect most of us would, but he excelled himself last night & posted a link to something non-poker he wrote a while back. It's utterly splendid, & made my evening. Go on, I dare you, read it.
