Brilliant Quote?

Earlier in the week, he had posted: “Nigel Farage is a particularly pungent skidmark on the underpants of Britain. Nobody can be genuinely surprised by his latest belches of base bigotry.”

    I agree.

Although I feel this view will be shared by the vast majority of non racists among us.

Besides being a racist the man is a fool.

Farage’s departure follows a backlash over his comments about Black Lives Matter.
After protests erupted in the UK over the death of George Floyd in America, Farage claimed a “new form of the Taliban was born in the UK” and described Black Lives Matter as “a far-left Marxist organisation that wants to abolish the police and dismantle capitalism”.

The Taliban have been condemned internationally for the harsh enforcement of their interpretation of Islamic Sharia law, which has resulted in the brutal treatment of many Afghans, especially women.[59][60] During their rule from 1996 to 2001, the Taliban and their allies committed massacres against Afghan civilians, denied UN food supplies to 160,000 starving civilians and conducted a policy of scorched earth, burning vast areas of fertile land and destroying tens of thousands of homes.[61][62][63][64][65][66] During their rule they also targeted many ethnic minorities, including Shiite Muslims,[67] while their enforcement of identifiable badges on Hindus was likened to Nazi Germany's treatment of Jews.[68] According to the United Nations, the Taliban and their allies were responsible for 76% of Afghan civilian casualties in 2010, 80% in 2011, and 80% in 2012.[69][70][71][72][73][74] Taliban has also engaged in cultural genocide, destroying numerous monuments including the famous 1500-year old Buddhas of Bamiyan.[

"Nigel Farage to relaunch Brexit Party" is the claim of the Sunday Express.
The paper says Mr Farage has confirmed he is preparing a relaunch and "watching and waiting" because he believes that Boris Johnson and the Conservatives are losing control of the country, and could go soft on Brexit.
Sources described as close to the leadership are also quoted, suggesting "phones have been buzzing, donations pouring in." The unnamed individual adds "we're praying for a by-election in a Tory seat, and currently deciding on who would stand"

I actually liked his vision to take us out of the E. U. Something that I personally never liked or agreed with.

However, I have no time or sympathy for his overt racism and xenophobic rants.

He now appears to have a seriously deluded opinion of his own capabilities and importance, which unfortunately appeals to sections of society best left without a figurehead.

Nigel Farage, I thank you for creating the vehicle that led to us quitting the E.U.

Now crawl into a hole somewhere and stay there.

    Despicable man.

Forget his political ideology for a moment-some love that, some hate it.

He has spent his entire political career taking our money to be an MEP. And the sort of massive pension that dwarfs anything any of us will ever get. Which, again, we have to pay for.

Out of 746 MEPs, he ranks 745th in actually turning up. Only ahead of the paralysed guy who has been in hospital for months. That includes only bothering to turn up once for the Fisheries Committee, and not saying a single word in relation to British interests there in that regard. You know, where we pay him to say stuff. At an organisation that he says does not listen to UK interests.

Who insists that we leave the EU. And insists we should not pay any fee for doing so. While not mentioning that the largest bill to any one person is to him, for his pension.

Then we come to the fact that he clearly believes that any Black person protesting is not "British". "New Taliban" indeed.

Hypocrite. Racist. Scum. And they are just his good points....

I could agree with all of that. except for the quitting the EU bit.

Only time will tell if that was the right thing to do.

For the good of the country I would be glad to be proved wrong.

It probably says a lot about the politics in this country, that allows a man like him to gain any popularity whatsoever.
