I'm new to the forum so if I'm posting in the wrong place I apologise. A first for me today as I saw quads in two successive hands both from unpaired hole cards. Both hands went to the river. The first one went to an absent player! The second one saw quads v full house v full house. I folded after the turn but if I had stayed in I would have made a different full house on the river. The hand went 8dkd(me),6dkh,kcjc,js10s. Flop 6s6hjh,turn 8s and the river 6c. For a bit of fun I worked out the pre-deal odds of quads v 3 full houses just using the individual percentages of each type of hand. The answer? 34 011 707/1! The odds of quads in successive hands are a more reasonable 355 215/1. Stay safe everyone and good luck at the tables.
