A new week & a clean slate, off we go again.
We have a looming dilemma. Horse Racing has served us well during lockdown, & numbers have held up well, especially last week. However, on Wednesday, Premier League football returns, & there will be multiple games almost daily. What would you prefer?
All Premier League Football
All horse racing
Mix it up
Anyway, back to today, & we have two tricky handicaps, one from Pontefract, & the other Chepstow.
17.00 Pontefract - 1m 2f Handicap, 11 runners, Good, Good to Soft in places
17.25 Chepstow - 6f Handicap, 14 runners, Good, Good to Soft in places
Pontefract racecourse sits almost in the shadow of those giant cooling towers at Ferrybridge which sit close to the M62 & A1, but it's actually quite a pretty track.

From Pontefract, we head a long way south west to Chepstow, which is so scenic & pretty you'd think it was in England, but surprisingly & disappointingly it is actually in Wales. Who'd have thought?

Please.
Pft.
Horse racing isn't a real sport. It only exists because of the betting industry.
The current Premier League season is only resuming because the clubs will owe Sky and BT multi millions if they don't.
But at least football is a sport.

The Right Choice cheers.
17.25C: RED BRAVO
An alternating mix of race meetings and football matches (if fixtures allow) seems a fair compromise
