    That was comical.

    Surely the Referee should have the right to over-rule technology when it has clearly malfunctioned?

    Deffo a goal. Why no VAR, the keeper threw it out so its the same passage of play.

    Bet if it was a "big" club it would have been given.

    I think the lack of a computer simulation, which normally is shown pretty much straight away, is telling.

    Villa not letting Sheffield United score there says a lot about their players.

    Of course the goal line technology failed and VAR should've corrected it.

    So first game back and yet more mistakes costs teams,Sheff Utd a top 5 European place and Villa's relegation rivals a point closer to them.

    I think the situations are quite different tbf.

    I'd be pretty angry if my team allowed a team to walk the ball in because of a 'technology/officials error'
