We pay our first visit to the Champo today, & a mouth-watering clash is in prospect.

Brentford sit 4th & are nearing the end of their Griffin Park residency, as a new stadium awaits. West Brom meanwhile are the surprise Champo package, being joint leaders with Leeds United, and are managed by the charismatic Slavan Bilic.

Brentford are currently managed by Thomas Frank, who is Danish. I'm struggling to think of any other Danish football managers in UK senior football. I'm sure there are 1 or 2 around, but doubt there are many.

As a young 17 year-old ...... I got my first Assistant Pro Golf job at Twickenham GC. I spent the first few weeks living in Ealing, and as I didn't drive, I had to catch two buses to get to the Golf Club, about a 2 hour journey from memory, so I had to be up at 5am. I think it might have been the no. 33 bus and the route to Twickenham took you past Brentford's Ground... perhaps @NChanning or @Tikay10 may be able to confirm
Pretty built up to say the least, and I couldn't believe how they managed to fit a football ground in that space, especially being used to Hillsborough.

I was glad when I got digs just up the road from Twickenham Stadium, and I bought a pushbike that I could cycle to work on..... got an extra 2 hours in bed
