Leeds United could only draw at home with bottom of the table Luton Town, so it was always going to be a good night, & a solid set of poker numbers added to the feel-good vibe.

Although Quickdraw cut it fine - again - everything covered, mostly comfortably, with the Main & Summit, each of which carried an £8,000 g'tee, both coming in at an identical £9,900.

I thought the term "bleurgh" was a) internet slang & b) new, but a peruse of Dr google tells us that the term originated back in the 1960's, though it's clear it's use accelerated once the internet became widely available. It's been 7 months since LauraH ran 5th in a £10,000 BH so this would have felt just great.

2nd was StayOrGo who reported in his Diary that June was "not great", though these things are relative, & I'm sure many would love to swap with him.

dakky was 3rd, & in 5th, the man who confessed on the forum yesterday that he "loved Sky Poker". I have a hunch that's the poker equivalent of the fella who craves a woman only for her body, & we need to look at the motives here.

6 years to the day since his last mention in a Results Thread, bowler23 threw his hat in the ring & bagged a win, ahead of PBKR & Graveltrax.
