Not normally one for posting these sorts of stories however this one seemed quite sad.

I stayed up to watch this fight and was ready to have a decent sided gamble on a Khabib win.

McGregor is the talker of the sport and has built a great amount of money for himself and his family.

Khabib, more reserved, the best in the sport, family oriented, seemed to have had enough of the antics of McGregor and his team then lost it after the fight with some ugly scenes post-fight.

The fight itself I looked very one-sided from even a person who is not a generally a UFC follower.

    That's how every Khabib fight plays out. He mauls and totally dominates opponents. Possible human/bear hybrid. He is probably the goat.

    I have not seen any Khabib fights until the McGregor one as I am not a UFC guy.

    His record, for MMA fighters is very much a rarity.

    @kapowblamz if I had to pick a couple of fighters for personality and skills it would be George St Pierre and The Spider :)
