We head north west today, to Haydock Park, home of many a great race both on the flat & under NH rules.
The track is owned by the Jockey Club, who own around 15 racecourses, but most are in the South or Midlands, with only Haydock & Carlisle. This stems from the upper-class origins of the Jockey Club I would assume.
The going forecast is Good to Soft, Soft in places.
