That said, I'm a Liverpool fan, and we're nothing but sportsmen so I did NOT reverse image search the picture before guessing Preston.

Home.

Wasn't here in the 70s when that was taken but I did move here and start going on c1990, standing on the West Paddock terrace. I have lived through the dreadful plastic pitch and seen the ground develop into what now looks like this...

NB to beat the reverse image search of an existing googleable image you will need to edit it. E.g. Crop a bit/flip it/rotate it. You can test it yourself before posting.
