Good morning.
This glorious weather is all well and good, but it's no good for poker, & once again it was all a bit uphill yesterday. Mega (£20), Sheriff (£300) & Quickdraw (£250) all missed, so that was £570 which has disappeared never to be seen again, & for which nobody accrued any real benefit. On a happier note, Main & Mini both did reasonably well.
As it happens GGPoker would love to swap with Sky Poker right now. The WSOP Online glitches they experienced over the weekend, & which were caused by a cruel combination of problems, some of which were outwith their control, resulted in them getting thoroughly beat up on Twitter yesterday by folks who were not really interested in seeing both sides of the coin & don't appear to understand the complexities of running a poker site. Tough gig, keeping poker players happy. Probably best to blame Danny Negreanu for everything that went wrong, that usually works. Oh, wait, they already did.

There are days when it's hard work writing these reports, but when someone like SJspanky binks big it is always a pleasure. He's been here since the start, & while 80% of his volume is DYM's, 90% of his profit comes from MTT's. He's a kindly sort too, a few years ago I dabbled with playing NLH DYM's & he was good enough to demonstrate how bad I was by taking all my money with alarming alacrity but wonderful manners. Always looks after your best customers, eh? Top bloke, for sure.

It might be time for Sky Poker to invest some time into looking at the satellite trees (IMHO). For the bigger games to survive, they need to be designed better to get 'bums on seats' for the target events.

Thanks for the kind words Tony. it's been an ambition of mine to appear in these write ups since you started doing them and I've failed miserably up to now bar a few freeroll winnings.
