Disgruntled homeowners scaffold in their next door neighbours' car in parking dispute with driver who keeps taking 'their spot'
Police were called to the incident when the owner of a blue VW Passat found his vehicle completely trapped (main and inset) in the makeshift construction, on an estate in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. A series of huge scaffolding poles had been tightly screwed in place to imprison the estate car and prevent it from being driven away. A trailer next to the parking space had also been cemented into the ground beside the vehicle before the cage was built, police said.
