Morning.

We are truly being spoilt by sport at the moment. Yesterday we had Day 2 of the 1st Test v Pakistan, the World Snooker in which we saw Higgins exit (yay) & Williams & Bingham tied at 8 apiece, then Day One of the first Golf Major of the year, the PGA. The golf is being held at TPC Harding Park, in San Francisco. The course is both utterly beautiful, & a beast. And amazingly, it's a Municipal. Some Muni, that.

And added to the Test, the Snooker & the golf, tonight we have the mouth-watering CL tie between Man City & Real Madrid. WAL.

On to last night's poker, it was sort of meh minus, with the evening being spoiled by the Main which missed by over £500.

£1,000 BH £1,280

£8,000 Hitman Main £8,000

£2,000 Hitman Mini £2,235

£1,500 Mega £1,680

£2,500 Sheriff £2,500

£2,000 Turbo £2,520

£1,500 Quickdraw £1,750

£1,500 Mid Ex £1,560

    £8,000 Hitman Bounty Hunter (£8,000)

heddoh is another who is slowly mopping up all the money. 5th in Tuesday's Summit for decent money, he added another ~£1,500 last night in taking down the Main.

A spiffing result for NoEa5yCa5h who picked up over £900 in running 2nd. Earlier in the day he picked both winners in the Daily Forum Comp, even though I did try to diddle him out of his winnings.

Swimmr, 2nd in Monday's Mega, was 5th here.

    £2,000 Mini Hitman (£2,235)

SwannLol won the Mini last month, but last night was his best yet, winning 2 MTT's 15 minutes apart. First he won the 82 runner tenner BH @ 20.15, collecting £211, then followed up by winning the Mini for the 2nd time in a fortnight for another £350+. It's far from easy to win the Mini twice in such a short time.

Good to see Cheezy is still around & doing well, he was 4th.

andymcbr22, who won Mid Ex a fortnight ago, wins again, this time the Sheriff. Tough one to win, too, he had to fend off the likes of snoxx, Redmond, The Bates, fishhhhh & Lord Crush. Excellent win, that.

Great course agreed. But surely the ultimate ‘muni’ is St Andrews? Hoping (fingers crossed etc etc) to get there in 2022 for the 150th Open Championship. By the way, did you see Bryson snap his driver?

Yes, & I'm pretty sure St Andrews must be the best Muni in the world. Hope you get there for the 150th, I was lucky enough to be there for the Millenium Open when Tiger Woods spreadeagled the field & won by 8 shots. A memory for life.

The Bryson driver thing was very odd, not sure I ever recall seeing such a thing before. Mind you, he don't half give it some oomph. I actually quite enjoy watching him.

Wow! That must have been fantastic! Sadly work always prevented me from attending the golf majors and/or Ryder Cup. Not too worried about the US Open or USPGA but if I win the lottery, The Masters and a European based Ryder Cup would be top of my bucket list. In addition to The Open at the home of golf.

The next events I would have on my list would be a Monaco GP and The Ashes in Sydney. I was at the Oval when we won that famous series with Flintoff & Peterson.

I don't care for the Ryder Cup personally, I like golf galleries to be respectful. The Masters? Ooh, yes.

Top of my cricket bucket list would be the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne. The first Test Match I ever attended was at The Oval - it rained all day.

I've been to Silverstone for the F1 GP, but would not go again, I prefer Moto GP these days. Sadly, they don't have Moto GP at Brands Hatch, easily my favourite circuit.
