Good morning.
Whilst most of the UK continued to suffer in the sweltering heat, parts of Scotland had bad flooding, & the North West had spectacular lightning last night. For such a relatively small island, our weather diversity is amazing.
Meanwhile, at the poker tables, it continues to be a challenge to meet Guarantees, no surprise there given the weather I suppose. Gold Rush Main & Mid Ex missed by piffling amounts, but it was uphill for the Summit which came up £600 shy. I don't see much change until this weather cools down somewhat.

Perseverance is all. SQUIDGER played half a dozen £1.20 All-In satellites to this, eventually won one, then went on to take the event itself. He ran 2nd in the same event back in June, so it was doubly sweet.
In 5th was another FT for Jac35, who seems to be transitioning from DYM's to MTT's. Once he learns to fold J-J when clearly behind he might just win one.

evejosie20 is enjoying a rich vein of form. Achieved a PB on Saturday in winning Quickdraw, then knocked it out of the park last night in winning the Main for over £1,500. For good measure, 5th in Quickdraw later in the evening too.
Quite surprised to see runner-up lee100 playing this, they usually play much smaller, but my oh my it worked out well for the Sky Poker veteran of 12 years or more.
A very fine 5th for the highly skilled goldnballz, & a very lucky 6th for "Any Two" Markycash. Were it not for Markycash, tai-gar would have finalled too.

DivsDreams has had many good nights here, I clearly recall him winning the old PRIMO back in 2012 on the very same night he won another MTT & then bubbled a Viva Las Vegas package. Last night was pretty handy too, winner of Summit, 2nd in the Turbo & 2nd in Midnight Express. Some session, that. Well done Divvy.

On a night which saw some spectacular thunder & lightning, it was somehow appropriate that Zeusbites took this. For those not well-versed in Greek mythology, or just thick like @markycash, Zeus is the God of Thunder in Greek mythology.

Well now, what about that for a blast from the past - devonfish5 ran 2nd in the Rewards Freeroll. A quick perusal of Sharky suggests he's been back a goodly while. Maybe PokerStars was not as much fun as he had hoped.
