Who won what, Thursday 13th August

A very good Friday morning to you.

The weather turned very much for the worse yesterday,m and so as sure as night follows day, traffic picked up significantly. Still not great, but far better than Wednesday. The £1k BH, the Main & Turbo all missed by paltry amounts, everything else was fine.

Football seems to have fallen under the radar of late, so don't forget there's a cracking Champions League game tonight, Barcelona v Bayern Munich. Remarkable, Barca - at home - are 12/5 to win, whilst the visitors, Bayern Munich, are 19/20. Never thought I'd see the day when Barcelona were the underdogs at home to Bayern. The times they are a changing.

Enjoy your weekend.

£1,000 BH £1,000

£8,000 Hitman Main £8,000

£2,000 Hitman Mini £2,080

£2,500 Sheriff £2,800

£2,000 Turbo £2,000

£1,500 Quickdraw £1,650

    A terrific quick-fire double for XgudiS. He won this for around £300, & followed up an hour later by taking down the Main for £1,360. For good measure he ran 2nd of 232 in a fiver BH that began at 6.30pm. Terrific stuff.

    We already mentioned XgudiS, and in winning this, he denied UGOTNOFANS the chance to win his 2nd £8,000 BH in just over a fortnight, as he took one down on July 26th.

    3rd was Serin, not to be confused with sarin. The latter is a deadly chemical weapon, the former a beautiful member of the Finch family. But then you knew that, right?

    @XgudiS 1295000 1 £1105.29 + £254.33 Head Prizes 5

    @UGOTNOFANS 0 2 £659.63 + £225.99 Head Prizes 11

    @Serin 0 3 £393.39 + £47.64 Head Prizes 2

    @MattBates 0 4 £309.45 + £120.46 Head Prizes 6

    @SenorBegs 0 5 £263.36 + £275.35 Head Prizes 12

    If you live on the south coast of England & keep your eyes peeled, you might just spot a serin. It's a beautiful little bird, but very rare in the UK.

    We've not seen a great deal of DUSTOLUCKO since the end of June, his volume in July & August has decreased significantly, so this was an interesting result & we may see more of him again now.

    The winner, LiamRynn, is one of the highest volume MTT-ers on Sky Poker in 2020, he sits 4th in the Sharky "Count" list, & plays an average of 26 scheduled MTT's per day. 3rd in that list is Lord Crush & 5th MAXALLY, so poor Liam really is a rose between two prickly thorns.

    As Gorillaz got a mention earlier, here's one of their amazing vids. The question for you is this - the guy that came up with the video story line & graphics - what must he have been on to be able to imagine that sort of stuff? It's beyond incred.

    I think tonight's match is being played at a neutral venue? Which probably explains the unexpected odds a little bit :)

    Ahh yes, I'd forgotten that, it's all being played in Lisbon now. Even so, it's weird that Barca are not favourites, it does show how the old order is changing.

    Little City favourites for the CL.

    I don't think we'll win it, I'm sure UEFA will see to that.

    Have we got a conspiracy theory thread around these parts?
